This flame guard is the real deal. Game changer in my book. I noticed an immediate difference on my first cook. Didn’t burn a single pizza whereas before I had to closely monitor the flame and continually adjust the flame so I didn’t burn the edges . This guard allows me to get a crispier undercarriage without undercooking or burning the edges. The flame rolls so much better with this guard which aids in cooking the top. Best aftermarket investment I have made to date. If you have a Gozney Arc this is a MUST!!!

game changer for my gozney Arc XL

wasn’t sure if I needed a heat shield for my Arc XL, but after using the Annapolis Shield, I can say it’s a must-have! It helps control the flame, reducing flare-ups while still keeping the oven blazing hot. The biggest difference? My pizzas cook more evenly, with a perfect char on the crust without the edges burning too quickly.

The build quality is solid—feels premium and well-made, and it fits the oven perfectly. I also love that it’s super easy to install and remove. If you’re serious about making great pizza in your Gozney, this is one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference. Highly recommend!
